My Digital Photo Carving
Here are some carvings I made from photographs, using my cnc machine and digital software. The pictures in person gives you a much better perspective on how this machine really works I was truly amazed on the detail. I have improved my editing and style as you can see from the pictures and composition that I am doing. Every picture is unique and sometimes the photo has to be altered to get the photo carving to look right. The machine makes about 100 passes per inch and the digital code could be as much as 360,000 lines of information per photo carving. So dig through your old and new pictures and find one that you would like on wood.
